Learn how the telehealth process works, who makes medical decisions, how prescriptions are handled, and what to expect before starting.
What is MHP Total Wellness?
MHP Total Wellness is a non-medical administrative and technology business that helps connect patients with independent licensed healthcare providers and participating licensed pharmacies through a secure telehealth platform.
Who provides the medical consultation?
Medical consultations, clinical evaluations, diagnoses, treatment recommendations, and prescription decisions are made solely by appropriately licensed healthcare providers. MHP Total Wellness does not practice medicine and does not direct clinical decisions.
Does completing an intake guarantee medication?
No. Completing an intake form, selecting a program, submitting payment information, or requesting treatment does not guarantee that medication will be prescribed. A licensed healthcare provider must review your information and determine that treatment is clinically appropriate.
What information will I need to provide?
You may be asked to provide identification, your current location, medical history, current medications, allergies, health goals, and other information relevant to the requested service. Additional records, laboratory testing, or a consultation may be required.
Will laboratory testing be required?
Laboratory testing requirements vary by treatment, your health history, the provider's clinical judgment, and applicable law. A provider may request current or additional laboratory results before making a treatment decision.
How are prescriptions issued?
A prescription may be issued only after a licensed healthcare provider completes the required clinical review and determines that the treatment is medically appropriate. MHP Total Wellness does not prescribe medication.
Who dispenses and ships medication?
When a prescription is approved, it may be transmitted to a participating licensed pharmacy. The pharmacy is responsible for preparing, dispensing, and shipping medication in accordance with applicable law and pharmacy standards.
Are services available in every state?
No. Services are available only where the applicable provider is licensed and where the requested treatment is legally available. You must be physically located in an eligible jurisdiction at the time of the telehealth encounter.
When will I be charged?
Charges depend on the selected program and the billing terms presented during enrollment. Applicable consultation, program, subscription, medication, laboratory, fulfillment, and shipping charges should be reviewed before payment. Submitting payment does not guarantee clinical approval.
What happens if I am not approved for treatment?
If a provider determines that treatment is not clinically appropriate, medication will not be prescribed. Refund eligibility, if any, depends on the nature of the charge, services already performed, pharmacy processing status, and the posted Refund Policy.
Can I cancel a subscription or recurring program?
Cancellation terms depend on the program selected. Review the Terms and Conditions, Refund Policy, and Payment and Billing Policy before enrolling. Cancellation requests should be submitted promptly to mhpllc.co@gmail.com.
Is telehealth appropriate for emergencies?
No. This website and telehealth service are not emergency services. Call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department for a medical emergency.
How is my health information protected?
Health information submitted through the secure telehealth platform is handled by the applicable clinical provider, platform service providers, and other authorized parties in accordance with applicable privacy and security requirements. Review the Privacy Policy and HIPAA Notice for more information.
How can I contact customer support?
Email mhpllc.co@gmail.com or call (720) 270-7131. Customer support can assist with general administrative, billing, and order questions. Clinical questions must be directed to a licensed healthcare provider through the secure platform.
